The InterswitchSPAK is a yearly competition that is held across high schools (public and private) in Nigeria and Kenya for only SS 2 (year 11) students between the ages of 14-17 years.
Its main aim is to chart the ideal career path and motivate the student towards full realization of their potentials and talents. Helping them fulfill their dreams (either as an inventor or entrepreneur) with a key message of reviving the interest of students, teachers, parents, and other key stakeholders towards STEM education and its application in Africa
The Sponsors of the InterswitchSPAK National Science Competition has disclosed the Prizes/Gifts that will be given to the winners and participants of the competition for the 2021/2022 Edition as follows:
InterswitchSPAK Finale Grand Prizes for Teachers & Students 2022 [Nigeria, Kenya & Uganda]
A. Nigeria
First Prize
The first prize winner in Nigeria will get a five (5) years University Scholarship in any Nigerian tertiary institution. An annual stipend worth ₦7.5 Million Naira (₦7,500,000). The winner will also receive a Brand New Laptop, a gold trophy and as expected will have the bragging right of being the best Science student in Nigeria.
Second Prize
The second prize winner will get a three (3) years University Scholarship. Annual stipend worth ₦4 Million Naira(₦ 4,000,000), a silver trophy and a brand New Laptop.
Third Prize
The third prize winner will get a year University Scholarship worth 1 Million Naira (₦1,000,000), a bronze trophy, and a brand New Laptop.
B. KENYA
First Prize
The first prize winner in Kenya will get a five (5) years University Scholarship worth KSH 1,500,000. Annual stipend (T&C). The winner will also receive a Brand New Laptop, and certificate of participation.
Second Prize
The second prize winner will get a three (3) years University Scholarship worth KSH 750,000. Annual stipend (T&C)a brand new laptop and certificate.
Third Prize
The third prize winner will get a year University Scholarship worth KSH 150,000 (T&C) certificate, and a brand New Laptop.

NOTES:
The winners of the InterswitchSPAK plus Project will receive the Founders Award. 1st to 3rd place winners also stand an optional chance of being employed by Interswitch.
Please note that all the participating schools will be rewarded with e- certificates and other prizes based on their various points of disengagement .
All students who make it to the TV quiz competition stage would get plagues, certificate of participation and educational grants amongst. Other gifts will also be given to them.
Teachers who train the students and their schools will also be rewarded.
Aspiring students are advised to begin preparations as soon as possible. Vital materials to aid them succeed include:
1. Interswitch SPAK Past Questions
2. High School Textbooks for the various subjects- Biology, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
3. NECO/WAEC past questions and Syllabus
The questions will be drawn from the traditional Secondary School Curriculum and mostly test speed and creative reasoning.
The Interswitch SPAK exams for 2022 will be Computer Based (Online).
Registration is currently ongoing and schools can register their students as soon as possible.
