1. Write a letter of request to the

3. Make photocopies of the Certificate(s) you want to verify, serially numbered with your marker or pen, and attach them to the letter.

NYSC Abscondment from Service Notice: National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Set to Punish all Corps Members Who Absconds from the One Year Mandatory Service with a Fine of Two Thousand (N2,000) Naira or Twelve (12) Months Imprisonment or the Both as the Case May Be.
The National Youth Service Corps Management has observed with concern that some eligible Nigerian graduates who were duly mobilized and deployed for National Service have willfully refused, neglected, and failed to serve continuously for one year as specified in the Call-Up instrument, according to the provisions of Section 2(1) of the National Youth Service Corps Act, Cap. N84, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004.
It is a criminal offense punishable under the provisions of Section 13(1) (b) of the NYSC Act as follows:
“Any person:-
(b) who refuses to make himself available for service in the service corps continuously for the period specified in subsection (2) of this section,
is guilty of an offense and liable on conviction to a fine of N2,000 or imprisonment for a term of 12 months or to both such fine and imprisonment.”
For the avoidance of doubt, the Management of the NYSC has put every necessary machinery in place to track and prosecute any person who has been remobilized as a result of the decision of the Disciplinary Committee but failed to report for National Service.

This is to inform all Prospective Corps Members including serving Corps Members that henceforth medical fitness/medical report submitted to NYSC must be affixed with Nigeria Medical Association (NMA) stamp.

National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Management Announces that the COVID-19 RDT Test is Compulsory for all Prospective Corps Members (PCM’s) Going to Camp Nationwide.
All the Prospective Corps Members and other Camp participants for the 2022 Batch ‘A’ Orientation Exercise would undergo compulsory COVID-19 RDT Test, and only those that test negative would be allowed entry into the camps.
The DG disclosed that those that test positive to COVID-19 would be handed over to the NCDC and State Ministry of Health Officials for treatment.
General Ibrahim revealed that the collaboration with NCDC has yielded good results, adding that since the partnership started, no casualty has been recorded in any of the Scheme’s Orientation Camps across the country.
The Director-General lauded the Federal Government, Presidential Committee on COVID-19, and the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) for their support for the Scheme, especially in the conduct of hitch-free Orientation Courses since the outbreak of COVID-19 in the country.
According to the NCDC/NYSC Project Lead for Safe Camp Reopening, Dr. Ladun Okunromade said adequate preparations have been put in place for the safe conduct of the 2022 Batch ‘A’ Orientation Exercise.
Okunromade advised the Prospective Corps Members and other camp participants to come to camp with facemasks, hand sanitizers; obey physical distancing, maintain personal hygiene and also adhere to all COVID-19 safety guidelines.
The NCDC Director-General, Dr. Ifedayo Adetifa also disclosed that there will be facilities for vaccination in the camp for those that will take either the first or second dose or third jabs and they are to sight their vaccination cards.
He urged all camp participants to come to the Orientation camps with their vaccination cards.
The virus is still with us and we must continue to take both personal and collective responsibility to ensure our safety”, he stated.

STAGE 1 – REGISTRATION/APPLICATION

Interested Cyber Café Operators (CBOs) are to visit the NYSC CBO Registration page and provide details about their organization, and make payment of non-refundable Expression-of-Interest (EOI) Fee of Five thousand (N5,000). The following information are to be provided;
CBO must agree to the payment of Five thousand (N5,000) non–refundable expression of interest fee.
CBO will be able to make payment online (via Remita) and Print a Confirmation Page.
Only CBOs with successful payment of EoI will be added to the NYSC CBO database and proceed to the next stage.
All communication between the NYSC and the CBO will be done via a supplied functional email address.
STAGE 2 – APPROVAL OF APPLICATION
NYSC reviews all applications (information and uploaded documents) submitted and approves or disapproves accordingly.
APPROVED APPLICATION
CBO with successful application receives email to text “Congratulations, your Application is successful”. This is followed by further instructions for the next line of action.
DISAPPROVED APPLICATION
CBO with the unsuccessful applications will also receive an email stating the reason for disapproval.
STAGE 3 – PAYMENT FOR NEW REGISTRATION PAGE:
CBO makes payment of New Registration Fee of Twenty (N20,000) Naira via Remita as a newly registered and accredited CBO. Access will also be provided to print “Confirmation of Successful Payment” or a Copy send to an email address.
SUCCESSFUL PAYMENT/CBO AGREEMENT
On confirmation of payment, CBO receives confirmation receipt via email with a link to download the NYSC CBO Agreement with further instruction.
STAGE 4 – CBO AGREEMENT SUBMISSION
CBO download, print, sign and submit the NYSC CBO Agreement (Two copies) at NYSC State Secretariat where the company resides, while the NYSC State Coordinator signs on behalf of the NYSC.
On notifying the NYSC Directorate Headquarters of submission of agreement, CBO receives Temporary Access Code as well as a link to operate on the NYSC registration portal. The access code will expire after three (3) months, during which Inspection of company premises will be conducted and subsequently issuance Certificate.
STAGE 5 – APPROVED CBO ACCESS CODE
Afterward, Permanent Access Code will be issued to enable operation on the NYSC portal for a period of One (1) Year.
STAGE 6 – CBO PREMISES INSPECTION
At the commencement of the NYSC CBO Accreditation Project, a timetable will be published for inspection of all successfully registered CBOs. Afterward, Inspection will be scheduled quarterly
STAGE 7 – ISSUANCE OF ACCREDITATION CERTIFICATE
NYSC will produce an Accreditation Certificate and send it via email to all successful registered and fully accredited CBO. The Date of renewal of Accreditation is one (1) year after it is issued.

Prospective Corps members are to note that uploading of Senate List and checking off names from their various institutions has commenced and is CURRENTLY IN PROGRESS.
Before you proceed to check your Name on the NYSC Senate Approved list kindly make sure you have done the following:
1. Complete your Final Clearance with your Institution,
2. Sign up for NYSC at the Directorate of Students’ Affairs in your School,
3. Confirm your name on the Senate list before your Institution sends it to NYSC

Steps To Check 2022 NYSC Approved Senate List for Batch “A” Stream I, II PCM’s
Prospective Corps Members are to follow the simple step by step guide below;

After viewing the error, PCMs should endeavor to solve the indicated problem.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO ALL PCMS
All prospective corps members who paid for the online registration during the previous NYSC batch Mobilization process but were not mobilized need not pay again.
‘Registration for Re-mobilization’ is required only for corps members that have been mobilized in a previous NYSC batch but absconded from service.
In order to ensure a seamless registration, prospective corps members are to note the following for strict compliance.

PUBLIC NOTICE
This is to inform 2022 Batch ‘A’ Stream II Prospective Corps Members that “Digital Persona U.are.U 4500 Fingerprint Reader” is the specification to use for thumbprint during Online Registration.
Those who have used other specifications should send a written application with their details to info@nysc.gov.ng before the commencement of the Orientation Exercise.
Note that failed biometrics will not be dropped during the Orientation Exercise.
All NIGERIAN FOREIGN TRAINED GRADUATES should register and upload all the required academic, professional credentials (where APPLICABLE) and travel documents.
While registering online, all FOREIGN TRAINED GRADUATES should choose any centre convenient for them where their credentials would be physically verified.
After registration, PHYSICAL VERIFICATION of all the credentials uploaded would take place in the centers SELECTED.
Please, note that only PCMs whose credentials are physically verified would be assigned with Call-Up Numbers and subsequently print Call-Up Letters.
It is therefore mandatory for all NIGERIAN FOREIGN TRAINED graduates who register on-line for the 2022 Batch “A” Service Year to be physically present for physical verification of their credentials.
(I). ATTESTATION LETTERS or TESTIMONIALS are not acceptable instead of original Degree/Higher National Diploma certificates.
(II). All working-class graduates are required to upload their original ADMISSION LETTERS and LETTER OF APPROVAL from their respective employers to undertake their courses.
(III). All graduates of Medicine and other health-related courses such as Nursing Science, Laboratory Science, Physiotherapy, Pharmacy, etc MUST possess and upload current professional license. An expiredlicense licence is not acceptable for Mobilization.
(IV). All Married Female Corps Members who requested for Concessional Posting based on Marital Online and those who were Relocated in camp on Marital grounds, that their Maiden name would be replaced with either Husband’s Name or Surname. Kindly note that your name will appear on your Certificate of National Service the license same way it is on your dashboard.
(V). Effective from 2021 Batch ‘C’ Date of Graduation and Course of Study will be on Certificate of National Service and Exemption Certificate.
Ensure your details are correct.
(VI). Effective from 2021 Batch ‘C’ there will be no Self Deployment options on the portal during Online Registration. NYSC Management reserves the authority to deploy all Prospective Corps Members Nationwide based on approved criteria,
To this end, you cannot revert to your Maiden name, after your Certificate of National Service has been produced.
Tips to guide PCMs during NYSC Online Registration.
2. If you are registering for the first time, click on ” Registration for Mobilization 2022 Batch ”A” Stream II.
3. If you have registered previously and did not complete your Registration or Submit, do not create a new account instead click on “Login Here” to continue your registration with your previous Username and Password.
4. The Re-validation link is only for those mobilized in 2021 Batch ‘C’ and Other Years Batches, but did not go to the Orientation Camp.
5. Apply for correction of spelling mistakes and rearrangement of names on your dashboard.
6. Do not Thumbprint by proxy.
7. Make sure the passport photograph uploaded is very clear; Do not upload passport photograph putting on NYSC crested vest, you will not be registered on camp if you fail to comply.
8. Do not forget the Username and Password used during your Online Registration 9. Cross-check your records before submission to avoid wrong details. 10. Henceforth NYSC will include Date of Birth on Discharge Certificates. To this end, you are advised to ensure that your Date of Birth is correct on the NYSC Portal, otherwise use the windows available on your dashboard to apply for correction, immediately after your Online Registration. 10. PCMs with wrongly uploaded Thumbprint and Passport Photographs during Online Registration to contact our States Secretariat before the commencement of the Orientation Exercise. No change of passport photograph after registration on camp. 11. Part-time graduates are to register online so as to be able to print their Exclusion Letter on their dashboard, when PCMs are enabled to print their Call-up Letters 12. NYSC Batch ‘A’ Stream I, II Online Registration Guide and Requirements 2022
Prospective Corps Members are to logon to the NYSC Website via any of the links:
PCM should ensure that they have functional e-mail addresses that they can access and Nigerian (GSM) telephone numbers with which to register.
Locally trained PCM are expected to use correct Matriculation numbers to register.

Foreign-trained PCM should ensure that their Institutions are accredited. Where in doubt, it is their responsibility to approach the expired licensed federal Ministry of Education for verification.

Those who graduated from Institutions outside Nigeria, (Foreign-trained graduates), are to visit the NYSC portal, register and upload the following documents:
West African School Certificate(WASC) (with not less than 5 Credits at 2 sittings) or it is equivalent, or General Certificate of Education (GCE O’ Level) (with not less than 5 Credits at 2 sittings) or it is equivalent, or NECO (with not less than 5 Credits at 2 sittings) or it is equivalent, or High School Diploma or its equivalent.
First Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) Certificate (Second Degree or Ph.D. not necessary).

International traveling Passport showing data page and date of departure for the course of study.
It is the responsibility of the prospective corps members who studied in non-English speaking countries to get their Certificates and Transcripts translated into the English language before uploading.
All graduates of Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Physiotherapy, Radiology, Optometry, Medical Laboratory Science, and Pharmacy are expected to have their Certificates of Registration with their professional bodies. Payment receipts are not acceptable.
Unlike in the past, Foreign-trained graduates should NOT visit NYSC Headquarters, Abuja for verification of their documents.
This exercise will now be done at the Orientation Camps.
They should simply print their call-up letters online and report at the Orientation camps in their States of deployment but should come to the camp with the original documents they uploaded for verification.
Anybody who presents any fake document will be demobilized and decamped.
TIPS TO GUIDE FOREIGN-TRAINEDthe GRADUATES DURING ONLINE REGISTRATION
1. Upload your Original documents online not photocopy.
2. Do not create multiple accounts.
3. Input your name correctly as it is on your certificate.
4. You can register anywhere you are but you must thumbprint in Nigeria before going to camp.
5. Contact Federal Ministry of Education Abuja, if your Institution of study has not been evaluated to obtain Evaluation Letter.
6. Note that SSCE results uploaded must be equal to or greater than four (4) years.
7. Select a Center for Pre-camp physical verification during Online Registration.
8. All Foreign-trained graduates should physically present themselves after they must have successfully registered online, alongside original copies of their degree certificates, transcript, and travel documents.
9. If your credentials have been physically verified at the various centers during the Pre-Camp Verification Exercise, you should print your Clearance Slip and present same for registration at the various camps of deployment with original copies of your documents/credentials and International Passport (s).
10. Those with questionable credentials are strongly advised NOT to show up for the exercise, to avoid arrest and prosecution.
11. If you are exempted from service, you are to collect your Exemption Certificate at NYSC NDHQ Abuja.
12. Those excluded from service will print their Exclusion Letter on their dashboard Online.
13. Go camping with your Original documents as uploaded online including the translated version of your certificate.

All Prospective corps members should ensure that Passport photographs used meet the following specifications:

On no account should prospective corps members register by PROXY.
They should also remember the fingers used for their biometric capturing as these will be used for verification at the orientation camps.
Those who cannot be verified with their biometrics at the orientation camp will not be registered.
NOTE – During the online registration, You will be required to pay about N3,000 via remita (you can pay at the bank or with a card) if you wish to print your NYSC call-up letter online.
Only prospective corps members who want their call-up numbers sent to them through SMS and wish to PRINT their call-up letters online are expected to pay the sum of Three Thousand Naira (N3,000.00) (see NYSC Portal on how to make payment).
PCM who do not want to pay the N3,000.00 have the option of going to their schools to collect their call-up numbers and call-up letters.
All prospective corps members who paid for the online registration before but were not mobilized need not pay again.
Married female prospective corps members (whether locally or foreign-trained) should upload copies of their marriage Certificates, evidence of Change of name, and their husbands’ place of domicile during registration.
The orientation camp is highly not ideal for pregnant and nursing mothers. Prospective corps members in this category are therefore to note that they will not be accommodated.

National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Guidelines on Relocation of Corps Members (PCM’s) to Good Places of Primary Assignment (PPA) Nationwide.
The attention of the Management of National Youth Service Corps has been drawn to a message purported to have come from NYSC, advertising good places of primary assignment to Corps members.
Because of the above, the Scheme has deemed it fit to inform the general public and all Prospective Corps Members (PCM’s) on the Guidelines on Relocation of Corps Members to a Good Place of Primary Assignment (PPA) or PPA of choice.
NYSC Relocation of Corps Members to Good PPA Guidelines
1, Relocation of Corps Members is done free of charge and on two major grounds namely:
Marital and,
Health.
Marital: applies only to female Corps Members that are genuinely married.
However, the applicant must support her application with valid documents, such as a Marriage Certificate or Affidavit of Marriage, a Newspaper Change of Name, a Letter indicating the husband’s Place of Domicile.
Relocation on Health Ground: applies to only those with life-threatening ailments. The applicant must support his/her request with his/her Medical History and be ready to appear before a Medical Panel for an interview that will either validate or invalidate the request as the case may be.
2, Kindly note again that the National Youth Service Corps Scheme does not charge money for relocation which is the right of every qualified Corps Member, neither does it charge money for deployment, posting, or any of the services it renders.
3, Be wary of criminals who masquerade as NYSC Officers promising you what they cannot offer to fleece you of your money.
4, The Director-General wishes you a resounding success as you proceed to render selfless service to the Nation.

National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Letter of Exclusion Online Registration and Printing Guidelines and Procedures for Part-Time (PT) National Open University (NOUN) and Distance Learning (DLC’s) Graduates.
The Management of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC wishes to inform all Part-time graduates whose Institutions have uploaded their records on the portal to go online and register to enable them to print their Letter of Exclusion on their dashboard when PCMs are enabled to print their Call-up Letters.
Online Printing of 2022 Batch ”A” NYSC Exclusion Letters will commence once Call-Up Printing Begins.
Note: Printing of Exclusion Letter by those that have registered is still available on their dashboard, even after the closure of the portal.
An exclusion letter is a letter given to graduates whoseprograms programmes are by law excluded from National service.
You will follow the same process as those who are meant to serve or exempted. Below is the quick guidelines.
1. Kindly make sure that your school forwards your data to NYSC for uploading to the NYSC registration portal. This list of graduating students is called the senate list.
2. Go for NYSC online registration as soon as registration commences. Fill program whose programs the same form (information) in the normal online registration except that you won’t be asked to select 4 states of deployment.
3. After completing the online registration you won’t be given any document (as that is not available for the exclusion candidates). Only those serving will be given the green card.
4. You will return to print your exclusion letter when those who are to serve are printing their call-up letters.
5. Note that at the time of this post exclusion graduates are to print this letter online while served corps are given a discharged certificate by hands after service.
