A 400 student of the University of Ilorin (Unilorin) Currently in his year 4 (400 level) has reportedly beaten a female Lecturer. The female lecturer identified as Mrs. Zakariyyah of the department of Microbiology was beaten to coma on Thursday, 11th November, 2021.
Reports gathered that the Student, Captain Walz walked into the lecturer’s office and began to beat her. The lecturer, Mrs. Zakariyyah ran into another office in an attempt to escape but the student ran after her and strangled her till she passed out. Mr. kunle, a spoke person from the School Confirmed the incident. The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Illorin, Professor Sulyman Abdulkareem and other lecturers visited the victim and her family on Saturday.
