PHOTOS: United Bank of Africa (UBA) National Essay Competition (NEC) Top 9 Finalist and Top 3 Winners and Scholarship Recipients of N2.5 Million Naira.

This is to inform all Students who participated in the 2021 UBA National Essay Competition that the list of finalists and winners has been released for the 2021 Edition.

UBA Foundation has officially released the 12 finalists for its 2021 National Essay Competition. The names of the finalists have been provided below;

  • Christabel Asha of Government Secondary School, Swansea, Calabar
  • Hajarat Abdulwahab of Addy Basic School, Kano
  • Brittney Nwume of James Hope College, Delta State
  • Maureen Essien of Eton Secondary School, Uyo
  • Oluwalayomi Odusola of Babington Macaulay Junior Seminary, Lagos
  • Eniola Ojedokun of UCH Staff Secondary School, Ibadan
  • Chukwubikem Nduka of Oxfords international School, Abia State
  • Tiana Agogbuo of British Nigerian Academy, Abuja
  • Eliora Davies of British Nigerian Academy, Abuja
  • Eziaku Enwereuzo of His Grace High School, Enugu
  • Sochikaima Renee Ilozumba of Spring of Life International School, Enugu
  • Ofure Eigbe of Aduvie International School, Abuja

The top 3 scholarship recipients has been announced on Tuesday, December 7th, 2021.

This is to inform the public and all who applied for the 2021 UBA national Essay Competitions that the Foundation has officially announced the Winners of the 2021 National Essay Competition

The 1st place winner and recipient of an N3,000,000 scholarship are Ms Eziaku Esther Enwereuzo of His Grace High School, Enugu.

Mr Nduka Chukwubikem of Oxford International School, Abia State emerged as the 2nd place winner and recipient of an N2,500,000 scholarship,

Ms Hajarat Abdulwahab of Addy Basic School, Kano came in 3rd place and is the recipient of an N2,000,000 scholarship.

Eziaku, Chukwubikem & Hajara can use the scholarship funds towards tuition at any African University of their choice.
